Eilinen 25.8. oli elokuun kolmas hellepäivä. Ylin lämpötila oli 27,0 astetta, elokuun ylin tänä vuonna. Tätä myöhäisempiä elokuisia hellepäiviä on ollut kaikkiaan 12 vuodesta 1960 lähtien. Niistä seitsemän on 2000-luvulta, ylin lukema 28,1 kuitenkin päivältä 28.8.1997.
